The Australian Women’s Wind Band Composition Award was established in 2018. It aims to support emerging Australian composers who identify as women in their career aspirations and encourage them to engage with the wind band medium.
Brolga Music Publishing, the Queensland Wind Orchestra and Distinct Audio & Production generously support the award.
